Holy Terrifying!

This is a pic of the new Grand Canyon Skywalk, unveiled today. Intrepid visitors can step out onto this glass bridge at about 4,000 ft. above the canyon floor and say a holy prayer that the engineering and construction materials are solid.

Me? I don't care what wonder of the world they call it, I much prefer the view from here, thank you very much.

Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? It is totally awesome. (Talk about yer *proof* of God...)

I always, every single time I've been there, felt dizzy. I get this kind of vertigo thingy goin' on and I have butterflies in my tummy.

I canNOT imagine walking out on that glass-bottom walk. I wonder if they have warning signs and you have to sign a waiver or something. I mean, just standing on the observation areas is scary enough but walking out over a very long drop on something that is man-made?
No, thank you very much.
Not this cherub.
Take me to the river
Drop me in the water
Don't make me walk the walk.

*GADS!* Not. Going. On it.

Ok, now I'll be having nightmares about falling into the Grand Canyon from the walk thingie.

Holy terrifying indeed.

I have to admit when the link didn't work I immediately assumed it was a joke. A quick google search proved otherwise though. I think I'm with the people that think it's an eyesore and detracts from the canyon. I can understand where the tribe is coming from at the same time though. Seems like there should be a better solution though.

Nope, not going. Especially at $25/head for 20"!

Nope, just not going to do it. You can't make me. I value my life and limbs way too much.

It'd be REALLY cool to skateboard over, wouldn't it?

I am about to run out of my house and have very little time to leave a comment right now.

That's ok, though, because the one I want to leave here is short.

No effing way!
